The website www.pcif.in (the "Platform") serves as an online hub for PCIF (Pranabananda Computer Institute Foundation), its franchises, students, and visitors to access information and services related to the institute. Through this Platform, visitors can explore available courses, submit applications for admission, and learn about institute updates. Registered franchises can log in to manage their students’ details, course records, and fee records. Admitted students are provided with a login ID to access their personal dashboard, where they can view course details, duration, and pending fees. PCIF recognizes the importance of privacy as well as the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of personal information. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") applies to all services provided by PCIF through the Platform and outlines how PCIF may collect, use, and disclose information in relation to User(s) of the Platform.

User(s) may access PCIF’s services and information through a desktop or mobile device using the official PCIF Computer Institute website. This Privacy Policy also applies to such access and use of the Platform.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any websites of third parties, even if their websites are linked to our website. Users should note that the information and privacy practices of PCIF's business partners, advertisers, sponsors, or other sites to which PCIF provides hyperlink(s) may be materially different from this Privacy Policy. Accordingly, it is recommended that you review the privacy statements and policies of any such third parties with whom you interact.

All capitalized terms not defined in this document shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms of Use of the Platform, which can be found on our website. The contracting entity for the purposes of this Privacy Policy shall be PCIF (Pranabananda Computer Institute Foundation) (hereinafter referred to as “PCIF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

1. User(s)’ privacy is important to PCIF and PCIF has taken steps to ensure that PCIF does not collect more information from User(s) than is necessary for PCIF to provide its services and to protect User accounts.
2. Information, including but not limited to a User’s name, address, phone number, email address, gender, date and/or year of birth, and preferences (collectively referred to as “Registration Information”), may be collected at the time of User registration on the Platform — such as when applying for a course, creating a student account, or creating a franchise login.
3. In connection with any communication, admission process, or fee payment services that you may use through the Platform, information — including but not limited to bank account details, billing information, credit/debit card numbers and expiration dates, or payment transaction references (collectively referred to as “Account Information”) — may be collected to process and confirm your payments to PCIF, if applicable.
4. PCIF records and retains details of Users’ activities on the Platform. Information relating to communication or transactions — including, but not limited to, course registrations, fee payment records, class schedules, attendance, franchise updates, dispute or grievance records, and any information disclosed in any communication forum provided by us — (collectively referred to as “Activities Information”) may be collected as and when such communications and/or transactions are conducted through the Platform.
5. Registration Information, Account Information, Activities Information, are collectively referred to as User Data.
6. It is mandatory for Users of the Platform to provide certain categories of User Data (as specified at the time of collection). In the event that Users do not provide any or sufficient User Data marked as mandatory, PCIF may not be able to complete the registration process or provide such Users with PCIF's services.

2. USE OF USER DATA

1. Verification of User's identity;
2. Processing User's registration as a student or franchise, providing a log-in ID for the Platform, and maintaining and managing User accounts;
3. Providing User(s) with support and responding to queries, feedback, claims, or disputes;
4. Enabling communication between PCIF and Users for admissions, courses, and payments;
5. Performing research or statistical analysis in order to improve the content and layout of the Platform and to enhance PCIF's services;
6. Subject to applicable laws, PCIF (including our affiliated centers and their designated service providers) may use User's name, phone number, address, email address, and other data (“Marketing Data”) to provide notices, surveys, course alerts, communications, and other information relating to services offered by PCIF or its affiliated centers;
7. If User(s) voluntarily submit any information to the Platform for publication (e.g., testimonials or feedback), then User(s) are deemed to have given consent to the publication of such information on the Platform;
8. Making such disclosures as may be required for any of the above purposes or as required by law, regulations, and guidelines or in respect of any investigations, claims, or potential claims brought on or against us or against third parties.
